28 May

The day is fast approaching. I feel like I used to whenever Stephen, Conrad and I ran the big tests – excited, apprehensive, a little scared, but mostly inquisitive. The machine still seems a long way from being ready, so it will be interesting to see what the solution to the power consumption issue is, once I give it to myself.

I know that every possible outcome of the experiment exists, but in this particular universe/timeline, I imagine that one of two things will happen. The machine will either work, or I will end up dead.
